The residents of the Eastern Shoshone Housing Authority wanted jobs and needed daycare. CBEDS worked with the residents of the Housing Authority to create a unique combination of training and services. THE ESHA CHILDCARE TRAINING CENTER was built with $500,000 million dollars in HUD family supportive services grants and is operated by a resident non-profit. ESHA and the Central College of Wyoming offeres a unique curriculum that teaches residents not only certified childcare but also how to establish and operate their own childcare facilities from their Indian housing units. |
